Overview
The 11th edition of the Turkish International Oil & Gas Conference and Showcase (TUROGE) will take place on 21 - 22 March 2012 at the Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center in Ankara, Turkey.
The event brings together leaders from the local and global public and private sectors, international Ambassadors to Turkey and senior level managers from major oil and gas companies.
The conference is an ideal platform to learn about both geo-political and technical insights into the local energy industry, while listening to presentations from representatives from the Turkish government. The showcase is also an ideal platform that unites regional suppliers with global operators.

Over the last 10 years, TUROGE has steadily reflected the growing interest in the Turkish oil & gas sector, Turkey's strategic location and importance as a regional oil & gas transportation hub between Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
The rigorous exploration and production efforts by Turkey are matched by the abundance of pipeline projects to neighbouring countries. As a result, Turkey's strategic growing importance make for a wealth of topics to discuss and debate at TUROGE.
TUROGE is traditionally supported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, General Directorate of Petroleum Affairs (PIGM), Turkish Petroleum A. O. (TPAO), Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS), General Directorate of Mineral Research & Exploration (MTA) and UKTI, and is co-organised with the Turkish Association of Petroleum Geologists (TPJD) and The Turkish Chamber of Geophysical Engineers (JFMO).
