TUROGE 2009, 8th Turkish International Oil & Gas Conference and Showcase, successfully concluded its business on 13 March 2009. Exhibitors: 110 (62 international) Visitors: 3 500 Participating countries: 24 Since 2000, TUROGE has been reflecting growing interest in Turkey Oil & Gas sector, Turkey strategic location and importance as regional Oil & Gas transportation hub between Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe. As on previous years TUROGE 2009 is officially supported by The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey and co-organised with TPAO, BOTAS, The Turkish Association of Petroleum Geologists (TPJD) and The Turkish Chamber of Geophysical Engineers (JFMO). The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, has underlined the importance of the event in his welcome address: 'The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is traditionally supporting this international forum as it provides a platform for business cooperation between the local and global oil & gas operators.
For the last five years the Turkish International Forum has been the annual meeting point for the representatives of Turkish government, international political elite, sector's leaders and Oil & Gas equipment manufacturers. Everyone who comes to Turkey for the exhibition and conference find here the opportunity to develop business contacts, meet with the high level delegations from Europe and Asia and discuss the current and future oil & gas transportation issues bridging West and East.' |
